Synopsis
Rojhat (11) lives in a small, remote village. On a hot summer day, an ice cream peddler comes to the village with his motorbike and he is immediately surrounded by the children of the village. Soon, all the children start bringing what they can find from their homes and in return they get some ice cream. Rojhat also runs home and asks his mother for something he can bring to the ice cream peddler, so that he can have some ice cream, too. His mother has nothing to give to him. When Rojhat starts crying, his mother gets really angry. However, his mother's anger only motivates him even more to get some ice cream.

Serhat KARAASLAN
Serhat Karaaslan was born in 1984 in Varto, Turkey. He graduated from Istanbul University’s Faculty of Pharmacy. After his graduation, he studied film directing in the Film and Drama Program at Kadir Has University. His short films, which he made while working as a pharmacist, won many awards and screened in major film festivals including Locarno, Thessaloniki and Montpellier. Currently, he’s been working on his first feature film project, “Passed by Censor” .
