Aykut Bilge, MD, PhD, is a pediatric anesthesiologist and filmmaker. He received his Medical Doctor degree from Hacettepe University in Turkey, and Doctor of Philosophy degree from University of Washington in Seattle. He holds a staff anesthesiologist position at Boston Children’s Hospital and an instructor position at Harvard Medical School. In addition to caring for children undergoing surgical procedures and alleviating their pain and anxiety, he enjoys indie filmmaking, bicycling, arts and music. He lives in Lexington, Massachusetts with his wife and three children. Cause is his first short film. |
