“El Matador” is the story of a man who wants to face his mistakes in the past. In order to meet a person, who had a key role in his past, the mathador decides to go to a wedding in the town. The film depicts his psychology through his relations with various ordinary people in his life.

Can Eren made his first documentary in 2005 about Konya and Rumi. He began photography in 2006. He shot many short films. In 2009 he worked as a director of photography in San Polo Production in Italy. He graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University in 2011 with double major on film-TV and visual communication design. His graduation project, Baydara “Edra’nin Kaderi”, won many national and international awards including Best Short Film Award in the 18th International Adana Golden Boll Film Festival. His graduation project for his graduate degree from Istanbul Bilgi University in 2015 was a short film, “Benim, yalnızlık aleti”. He shot “El Matador” in the Rally University project at the Guanajuato Film Festival in Mexico.
