In the 1980s, a family living in Suruç owns the only refrigerator in the village. Kadriye occasionally shares ice with her neighbors, which is very precious in the extremely hot region. But she is not always very happy about this. Yusuf, on the other hand, is after his fields which were taken from him with a trick. He needs a gun to scare away his adversaries; his neighbor Mahmut helps him to find one but he is a betrayer. In the end, the property changes hands. Women, men and children all are affected by this forced change of ownership. |
