ÖMER AKBAŞ

Can Eren

Ömer Akbaş (Malatya, 1989) got his primary and secondary education in Bursa. He started his undergraduate education in 2008, first in 18 Mart University Department of Archeology, then in Kayseri Erciyes University Department of Cinema-TV, and finally in Istanbul University Department of Cinema-TV. Starting in 2010, he worked in many short film projects as a script writer, director and editor. In 2012 he began to play a more active role in the film industry in the directing, pre and post production phases of documentaries, movies, TV films, as well as promotional and commercial films. In 2015 he made the documentary, “Dying Breath”.
