The entire life story of Ülkü Adatepe, the spiritual daughter of Atatürk, from her birth to her death, is told by Betül Adatepe, the daughter of Ülkü's husband Öke Adatepe. Videos and photographs from Ülkü Adatepe's personal archives that have never been seen before on the internet also accompany this life journey.

 

Gökşin Doğa EGESOY

goksin doga egesoyBorn in 1995, Gökşin Doğa Egesoy graduated from Kadir Has University with a full scholarship and an Honors Certificate, majoring in Radio, Cinema, and Television with a double major in Advertising. During her college years, she served as the head of the cinema club and achieved success in several national advertising competitions.

Since 2019, she has been working as a freelance filmmaker and photographer, and she also contributes as a backstage photographer for various feature films and commercials produced in Turkey.

In 2020, her short film When Are We Going? reached the finals of the Environmental Short Film Festival in Türkiye. That same year, she received a Screenplay Mention Award from the Sinemazon Female Directors Festival for her screenplay The Fire Was Not In Our House. This screenplay was also a finalist in the short screenplay category of the 3rd Luma Yeditepe University Short Film Festival in 2023.

In 2024, she completed her first feature film Icarus as the writer, director, and producer. Prior to filming, the project advanced to the finals of the project pitching competition at the 7th Denizbank First Script First Movie Competition, and the contest is still ongoing.
