At the age of 18, she moved to Istanbul for her education. She began studying at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, known for being the first institution in the country to offer cinema education and for having taught various renowned directors. In 2023, she created a documentary titled "Love is Revolution" about four different women. The following year, in 2024, she made her first fiction short film, "Rememberings". In the film, she explored the theme of femininity by telling the story of a young girl's growth. Melisa is currently continuing her education at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University.
