Beraat GÖKKUŞ
Beraat Gökkuş is a French-Turkish director and journalist currently residing in Paris. After graduating with a degree in Political Science from Marmara University in Istanbul, he has established himself as an award-winning filmmaker. His short film, The Lost Pen, garnered significant recognition, securing Best Director and Best Film awards at SmartFone Flick Fest 2020. It also clinched the Grand Jury Prize at the African Smartphone International Film Festival and Best Film Award at the Dhaka International Mobile Film Festival. Another notable achievement was his short documentary, Breakfast of Champions. This film won Best Short Film at the Berlin Independent Film Festival 2018 and Best Short Short Film at the Berlin Short Film Festival 2017. Gökkuş's short films have been consistently selected for prestigious international film festivals. Today, he is actively working on several film projects, including feature films, a documentary, and a short film.
