Selected Festivals and Awards • Antalya Golden Orange International Film Festival, Türkiye (November 2025) Gizem İBAK Gizem İbak graduated from Marmara University, receiving her degree from the Department of Cinema and TV within the Faculty of Fine Arts. While in school, she directed and wrote three short films. Between 2015 and 2017, she produced two short documentary films in India. One of these films was sold as VOD (Video On Demand) for screening in the USA and Francophone countries. Between 2017 and 2020, she established her own company, İbak Film Sanat, and directed more than 20 digital advertising films. In 2020, her short film titled Acıdan Başka (Other Than Pain) traveled to many festivals, including the Cannes Marché du Film. In 2023, she produced the documentary India Diaries. The film achieved screenings at numerous festivals and received a Special Audience Award from the Lift-Off Global London.
