Boston Turkish Festival's 18th Annual Documentary and Short Film Competition provides a rare opportunity for filmmakers to have a platform in the USA for their films to reach an international audience as well as film critics. The first of its kind organized in North America, the competition has transformed to a great tradition where film enthusiasts are able to explore works of the emerging filmmakers firsthand.
The Competition Opening Night takes place at the
Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA) on Friday, November 17, 2023 with Nuri Bilge Ceylan's About Dry Grasses (Kuru Otlar Üstüne). Click here for more information.
All competition screenings are online and will be streaming between November 18 - December 3, 2023. Click here to go to the online streaming platform.
There are 26 films in the program; 12 documentaries and 14 short films. Please check the program for details.
