
One of the salt lakes of Turkey... It is a gift for the villagers who live near the lake and it is the “salted” side of their lives. It is the daily life of the workers who produce salt by traditional methods from a small crater lake in the middle of Anatolia.
ÖZCAN GÜRBÜZ
Özcan Gürbüz (Eskişehir, 1966) is a graduate of Anadolu University, Faculty of Communication (1992) and the Institute of Social Sciences on Cinema-TV (1998). He currently teaches in Erciyes University Faculty of Communication. He organized many film screenings and participated in many film activities as an organizer and a speaker. Between 2005-2009 he made more than 150 programs at Erciyes University as the TV Culture and Arts Programs Coordinator. Since 2009 he serves as the director of Erciyes Film Workshop. He has contributed as project advisor to many award-winning films which received prizes in national and international competitions. His filmography includes Midye (documentary, 12’, 1992, production-director with Suat Tekiner and Özkan Öz), Ömrü Hayata Çevirenlerden Ol: Hasan Özgen Söyleşileri (interview, 18’, 2017), Palas’ın Tuzcuları (documentary, 17’ 57”, 2018).
