THE GEEZER Amca

Amca (The Geezer) tells the story of a man who has dedicated his life to his only passion: dancing. He lost his wife, kids and his money to follow his dreams but still has the ambition to live, the passion and his joy for life. Delivery person by day, dancer by night; he is definitely one of the ‘others’. SELECTED FESTIVALS AND AWARDS Le Petit Cannes Festival, France (2018): Special Mention Akbank Short Film Festival, Turkey (2018) İstanbul International Film Festival, Turkey (2018)   SENEM BAY Senem Bay (Istanbul, 1986) is a writer, director and producer. She worked in four feature films and more than 350 commercial projects. With her first short documentary "The Geezer" (Amca) she was finalist in Le Petit Cannes and received special jury prize. She continues to work as a director in advertisements and on a new feature film as director.
