ANTIOCH CIVILIZATIONS CHOIR
Antakya Medeniyetler Korosu
The Antioch Civilizations Choir (Antakya Medeniyetler Korosu) represents multicultural characteristics of Antakya, Hatay which is located in Southern Turkey. With its Jewish, Christian and Muslim communities living in peaceful unity, the city of Antakya has been a symbol of religious and cultural harmony. The Choir, composed of Muslim, Christian and Jewish members, came into existence building on this tradition of coexistence.
The Choir, established in 2007 and quickly drew national and international attention, have performed in more than 100 countries in Turkey and abroad, including Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Switzerland, and the United States, and in reputable locations such as the European Parliament, the European Court of Human Rights, and the United Nations.
